At KukuNia, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind — and that’s completely okay. Whether it’s an entire order, a single item, or a service you added, we’ve made it easy for you to cancel it — no confusion, no long forms, and definitely no guilt.
Here’s everything you need to know about how cancellations work at KukuNia.
Cancelling Your Order — What Are Your Options?
Depending on the status of your order, here’s what you can cancel:
- The full order (before anything has shipped)
- Individual products (as long as they haven’t shipped)
- A specific shipment (if it contains multiple products)
- Combos or bundles (only as a whole, not in parts)
- Assembly or installation services (if not yet completed)
Let’s walk through the details.
1. Cancelling the Entire Order
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, you’re free to cancel it in just a few clicks from your KukuNia account. Once it’s cancelled, we’ll process your refund to your KukuNia Wallet or your original payment method.
However, if even one item from your order has already been dispatched, the full cancellation won’t be possible. In that case, you may need to cancel individual items or a shipment instead.
Note: Items like digital products, gift cards, and certain promotional offers can’t be cancelled once purchased
2. Cancelling Individual Products
You can cancel a product before it’s shipped. Once it’s out the door, cancellation won’t be possible for that item — but you may be able to cancel the entire shipment if it hasn’t reached you yet.
If the product you cancel came with a free item, and that free item hasn’t shipped yet, it will be cancelled too. Also, if you remove the last gift-wrapped product from your cart, the gift-wrap will be removed automatically.
Please be aware: Made-to-order or personalized items (like some furniture) may have a shorter cancellation window or a small cancellation fee. These details are always mentioned on the product page — we recommend reviewing them before ordering.
3. Cancelling a Shipment
If your order is being delivered in parts and you’d like to cancel a specific shipment, that’s possible — as long as the shipment hasn’t gone out for delivery.
However, shipments handled by India Post are not cancellable once shipped.
Please note: Cancellation after shipping usually takes a couple of days to process. If delivery arrives before that, you can simply refuse the package.
4. Cancelling a Combo
If you ordered a combo or bundle, you can cancel the entire combo — but not individual items inside it.
Also, once any item in the combo has been shipped or delivered, the entire combo becomes non-cancellable. Some shipping services (like India Post) may limit combo-level cancellations altogether.
In rare cases, we might cancel an item in your combo ourselves (e.g. due to stock issues). If that happens, the rest of the combo cannot be cancelled from your end.
5. Cancelling Assembly Services
Booked assembly or setup services can be cancelled if they haven’t yet been assigned or completed.
If you cancel the product that the service was linked to, the assembly service will be cancelled automatically and refunded along with it.
When Cancellation Isn’t Possible
There are a few cases where the cancellation option may be disabled:
- The item or shipment has already been dispatched or is out for delivery
- The order includes non-cancellable items (e.g. gift cards, digital content, club offers)
- The service (like assembly) has already been completed
- Payment is still pending or failed
How Refunds Work
We try to process all cancellations and refunds as quickly as possible. Here’s how it goes:
- Refunds will first be added to your KukuNia Wallet. You can use this credit for future orders or transfer it back to your original payment method.
- Payments made with gift cards or coupons will be refunded to the same source, where applicable.
- If your cancellation causes the total order value to fall below ₹699, we may deduct applicable shipping and COD fees.
- If your order included a free item, and it’s cancelled due to an issue, no refund will be issued for that item, since it was free.
- Coupon codes used on cancelled orders will be reactivated (if still valid).
Shipping Charges & Deductions
- For orders below ₹699, a ₹50 shipping charge may apply. If cancellation brings your order total below that threshold, this charge may be deducted from your refund.
- For COD orders, both shipping and COD charges may be deducted if cancellation lowers the final payable amount.
- In certain cases (e.g. during national emergencies or lockdowns), we may waive these fees for customer convenience.
A Few Final Notes
- Cancelled orders are not eligible for reward points or cashback.
- Platform or convenience fees (if any) are non-refundable.
- You’ll get an email update once your cancellation is processed, and you can always track refund status in your account.
How to Cancel Your Order
- Log in to your KukuNia.com account
- Go to My Orders
- Click “Cancel” next to the product, combo, shipment, or service
- Select a reason and confirm
- That’s it — we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll be notified once it’s done.
